Mission

GRAUX is built on three principles:

  1. Creator Credit – Producers and writers are always recognized.

  2. Royalty-Fair Licensing – Independent artists keep 100% of their income. Royalties only apply when releases reach major scale.

  3. Human-Made Sounds – Every melody is played by real musicians. Never AI.


License Overview

By downloading or purchasing from grauxmusic.com, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use GRAUX content in your own music.


Permitted Use

  • Create and release original songs and instrumentals.

  • Monetize your music and keep 100% of beat sales.

  • Use GRAUX melodies with all major DAWs.


Credit Requirement

You must credit:

  • Producer: GRAUX

  • Songwriter: Sébastien GRAUX

Credits must appear in track metadata, liner notes, and public releases.
Example: Produced by GRAUX, Written by Sébastien GRAUX.

Use of GRAUX as a featured or main artist requires prior written approval.

Failure to credit within 14 days may result in:

  • Takedown of your track,

  • Renegotiation of the license, or

  • Compensation up to one-third of master revenue generated.


Royalty-Fair Terms

  • Independent Releases (<1,000,000 streams): Pay once, no royalties or publishing owed.

  • Major Releases (>1,000,000 streams or major label involvement):

    • Publishing share owed to GRAUX.

    • 2% of master royalties owed to GRAUX.

    • Clearance required: mgmt@grauxmusic.com


Restrictions

You may not:

  • Resell, share, or redistribute GRAUX melodies.

  • Include them in sample packs, templates, or plugins.

  • Use them in NFTs, AI training, or blockchain projects.

  • Present GRAUX as a featured or main artist without written consent.


Sync Licensing

Use in film, TV, advertising, trailers, games, or branded content requires separate clearance.


China-Specific Use

Releases in mainland China (DSPs, TV, film, ads, etc.) require separate licensing.

Key Terms

  • Non-exclusive – Others may license the same melody.

  • Non-transferable – You cannot sell, assign, or gift the license.
